Jared Verse was bodyslammed after talking trash by the Steelers

Cleveland Browns pass rusher Jared Verse will be the recipient of a pretty solid message from the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday.

Verse has been talking about the Steelers for most of the season. Most notably, he accused Pittsburgh’s offensive line of playing “dirty” after Cleveland’s 27-24 win in Week 4, a comment that went unheard in Pittsburgh.

Steelers guard Mason McCormick enterswho blatantly body-dropped Verse on the extra point in Sunday’s game between the two teams.

The fact that Verse was thrown to the ground was probably not a coincidence. McCormick was given a 15-yard penalty for the move, but the Steelers were probably willing to pick up the yardage to send a message.

The verse became a tone-setter on defense for the Browns. He is the main return to Myles Garrett trade, though he was still looking for his first sack of the season entering play Sunday.
