Chargers Injury Report: Elijah Molden is back at practice

The Chargers opened Week Four with another major injury report Wednesday afternoon.

Seven players are DNP, including left guard Kayode Awosika (fibula), defensive lineman Justin Eboigbe (eye), and cornerback Donte Jackson (concussion).

Speedy rookie wideout Brenen Thompson is also DNP with a hamstring injury he suffered against the Raiders in Week Two.

Safety Derwin James (finger) and wideout Ladd McConkey (foot) are two notable names to watch this week, especially the latter who was tagged with a new injury this week after dealing with sore ribs for two weeks.

Running back Keaton Mitchell was a late addition to the injury report with an ankle injury. He was seen wearing a walking boot after practice but told reporters he was “fine.”

Eboigbe’s status is worrisome because the defensive line room is thin with Dalvin Tomlinson still out with a hamstring injury he suffered against the Raiders. There’s a chance he’ll be back in Five Weeks, but right now that room is running low.
