1. Josh Allen, Buffalo Bills
Josh Allen
BUFQB1on
Allen did most of his damage on the ground in Week 5, rushing for 121 yards and a TD to go with 210 passing yards and a TD. That pushed him to a QB3 finish. His 8 rushing TDs through five games lead all QBs, making him almost certain to be a QB1 every week. The Raiders have allowed the fifth-most fantasy points to QBs, and this game has the highest total of the week (52.5). Allen is the top QB play.
2. Brock Purdy, San Francisco 49ers

Brock Purdy
SFQB2on
The Seahawks defense was allowing the second-fewest points to QBs before Purdy passed for multiple TDs, becoming one of just three QBs with multiple TDs in every game this season. His 23.7 PPR points per game ranks as the QB2. Purdy projects as a high-end QB1 in a more favorable matchup against a Commanders defense allowing the second most points to QBs.
3. Jordan Love, Green Bay Packers

Jordan Love
GBQB3on
Love is one of just three QBs with multiple passing TDs in every game they’ve played, and he faces a Cowboys defense in Week 6 that’s one of eight teams averaging multiple pass TDs allowed per game. The Cowboys offense is producing the fifth most points, which should keep the Packers in passing situations. Love projects as a high-end QB1 against a defense allowing the fifth most points to QBs.
4. Drake Maye, New England Patriots

Drake Maye
NEQB4on
Despite remaining without A.J. Brown, Maye has finished as the QB1 in back-to-back weeks. Next up is a Jets secondary that’s been fine but not threatening, sitting 13th in our pass defense power rankings. Maye – with 54 and 25 rushing yards over the last two weeks – remains a strong QB1.
5. Matthew Stafford, Los Angeles Rams

Matthew Stafford
LARQB5on
Stafford has finished as a top-10 fantasy QB in three of his past four outings. Next up is a Cardinals unit he posted 259-4 and 281-3 against last season. The 2026 Cardinals don’t look any better defending the pass, slotting 31st in our pass defense power rankings.
6. Jayden Daniels, Washington Commanders

Jayden Daniels
WASQB6on
Daniels finished as the QB2 last week, scoring 32.3 PPR points in his return from a dislocated elbow. He achieved that mark after producing 103 rushing yards and 2 TDs, giving him 10.8 rushing points per game on the season to rank as the third-highest among QBs. In a week the Commanders are likely to be chasing points facing a 49ers offense that’s scored the third most points, Daniels projects as a QB1.
7. Dak Prescott, Dallas Cowboys

Dak Prescott
DALQB7on
Prescott is producing the sixth-most passing yards per game with 276.2, which includes passing for at least 300 in each of the past two weeks. He’s also accounting for the 10th most passing TDs per game with 1.8. In a matchup of strengths, he faces a Packers defense this week that’s allowed the fifth-fewest passing yards, leaving Prescott projected as a middling QB1 in Week 6.
8. Caleb Williams, Chicago Bears

Caleb Williams
CHIQB8on
Williams has been a full-go in practice this week, putting him on track to play for the first time since Week 2. There’s some re-injury risk coming off the hamstring injury, and Williams’ rushing production could be limited. Still, there’s plenty of upside against a Falcons defense that started the season well but has slipped to 17th in adjusted fantasy points allowed to QBs. Atlanta has coughed up 799 passing yards and 5 TDs over the last 3 weeks. The Bears’ 26.25-point implied total is the sixth-highest of the week.
9. Patrick Mahomes, Kansas City Chiefs

Patrick Mahomes
KCQB9on
Mahomes will be without WR Tyquan Thornton and likely WR Rashee Rice this week. And his Chiefs are 8.5-point home favorites vs. a dead-on-arrival Chargers offense. This doesn’t set up as a ceiling spot for Mahomes, but he’s a fine QB1 play with the Chiefs sporting a 25.5-point implied total.
10. Tyler Shough, New Orleans Saints

Tyler Shough
NOQB10on
Shough had a disastrous Week 5, throwing for just 96 yards and 2 INTs for a QB31 finish. Shough injured his hand during the game and the Saints offense was overmatched (an illness running through the locker room may have affected the scoring as well) The volume is still elite, though. Shough is second in the league with 41 pass attempts per game, and the Saints are throwing on 65.3% of plays. The Giants have allowed the seventh-most fantasy points to QBs, making this a strong bounce-back spot. Shough is a low-end QB1.
11. C.J. Stroud, Houston Texans

C.J. Stroud
HOUQB11on
Stroud has delivered consecutive useful fantasy outings, finishing QB3 and QB13 since Nico Collins returned. But matchups with Tennessee and Dallas provided favorable conditions. The degree of difficulty rises Sunday in London against a Jaguars defense that has allowed only 4 passing TDs in five games. However, with four teams on a bye, Stroud sticks on the QB1 fringe.
12. Kirk Cousins, Las Vegas Raiders

Kirk Cousins
LVRQB12on
Cousins was steady but unspectacular in Week 5, throwing for 243 yards and a TD to finish as QB20. He has still been efficient, ranking second among QBs with 2.4 passing TDs per game. Cousins offers nothing as a runner (-2 rushing yards this season), so he needs the TDs to keep coming. This is a great spot to do it, with the Bills allowing the third-most fantasy points to QBs and the Raiders 4.5-point underdogs in a high-scoring game. Cousins is a high-end QB2 with QB1 upside this week.
13. Bryce Young, Carolina Panthers

Bryce Young
CARQB13on
Young has delivered top-7 finishes in three of his four outings so far. Philly’s defense brings some downside risk but has also presented the 10th most friendly scoring matchup to QBs so far. Only Matthew Stafford has fallen short of 2 total TDs against them, and his team got three rushing scores.
14. Trevor Lawrence, Jacksonville Jaguars

Trevor Lawrence
JACQB14on
Lawrence posted lines of 222-0-1 and 158-1-1 against Houston last season, making two of his four worst fantasy outings. But this Houston defense hasn’t yet hit its stride, ranking 15th in our pass defense power rankings. That helps keep Lawrence in play as a high-end QB2.
15. Jameis Winston, New York Giants

Jameis Winston
NYGQB15on
Winston had his best game of the season in Week 5, going 33/54 for 326 yards and 3 TDs to finish as QB7. Winston excelled against a weak Commanders’ secondary, but that may not be sustainable every week. That has been the exception so far, with Winston averaging just 201 passing yards per game (25th). The Saints have been roughly a league-average defense against QBs, and this game projects as a close one with a modest 45.5-point total. Treat Winston as a mid-range QB2 who needs a pass-heavy script to repeat last week.
16. Deshaun Watson, Cleveland Browns

Deshaun Watson
CLEQB16on
Watson has provided quality production as both a rusher and passer, posting 7.2 adjusted yards per attempt, ranking 17th among QBs, while accounting for an 11th-ranked 3.3 rushing points per game. He’s finished as a QB2 each of the past two weeks and projects to again, facing a Ravens defense in Week 6 that’s allowed the 14th fewest points to QBs.
17. Aaron Rodgers, Pittsburgh Steelers

Aaron Rodgers
PITQB17on
Rodgers delivered a QB12 finish in Week 5, throwing for 235 yards and 3 TDs without an INT, the first Steelers QB to ever deliver 3 TDs in three straight weeks. The Steelers have leaned on his arm so far, passing on 64.6% of plays in neutral situations. The matchup is the problem here, with the Bucs allowing the 10th-fewest fantasy points to QBs and this game carrying the lowest total of the week (39.5). Rodgers is a mid-range QB2.
18. Michael Penix Jr., Atlanta Falcons

Michael Penix Jr.
ATLQB18on
Penix is set to play through a rib injury, which adds some risk to his Week 6 profile. He’s played well over the past 3 weeks, completing 67.5% of his passes at 9.3 yards per attempt. But it’s produced fantasy finishes of QB24, QB25, and QB18 in the league’s second run-heaviest offense by pass rate over expected. Penix gets a beatable Bears defense this weekend, but he’ll need Chicago to jump out to a big lead to get enough passing volume for a strong fantasy outing.
19. Tyler Huntley, Baltimore Ravens

Tyler Huntley
BALQB19on
Huntley looks poised to make his second start in place of Lamar Jackson. He finished as the QB10 last week after accounting for 3 TDs, with two as a passer and the other as a rusher. Huntley holds a QB2 projection facing a Browns defense that’s allowed the 13th fewest passing yards.
20. Jacoby Brissett, Arizona Cardinals

Jacoby Brissett
ARIQB20on
Brissett has thrown for 2+ TDs in three straight, a stretch that includes games of 47 and 52 pass attempts. High volume might be required this week at the Rams, where the Cardinals are installed as 12.5-point underdogs. His QB2 prospects are buoyed by an L.A. unit slotted 15th in adjusted fantasy points allowed to QBs.
21. Jalon Daniels, Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Jalon Daniels
TBQB21on
Daniels went 19/25 for 189 yards and a TD in Week 5 while adding 23 rushing yards for a QB19 finish. It appears Daniels will be in again as Mayfield misses another week with his thumb injury. His rushing is the appeal, and he showed it in Week 4 with 55 yards. The Steelers have allowed the fourth-fewest fantasy points to QBs, so Daniels is a low-end QB2 best left to superflex leagues.
22. Daniel Jones, Indianapolis Colts

Daniel Jones
INDQB22on
Jones gets a positive matchup this week against a Titans D ranked 24th in schedule-adjusted fantasy points allowed to QBs. But Jones has produced terribly so far, and the heavily favored Colts should be able to lean hard into the run.
23. Geno Smith, New York Jets

Geno Smith
NYJQB23on
Since his 321-yard, 3-TD outing against the Lions, Smith has posted 8.8 and 12.0 fantasy points. The Jets will remain without Breece Hall and Adonai Mitchell, while Kenyon Sadiq should be OK to return from a concussion after practicing fully on Friday. Even if the rookie is active, Smith isn’t an attractive fantasy option against a Pats defense likely to get top CB Christian Gonzalez back from injury.
24. Justin Herbert, Los Angeles Chargers

Justin Herbert
LACQB24on
Herbert doesn’t have a weekly finish better than QB19 through 5 weeks. Getting WRs Ladd McConkey and Quentin Johnston back this week would help, but it wouldn’t push him beyond low-end QB2 territory against the Chiefs’ 12th-ranked QB defense. The Chargers’ 17-point implied total is the lowest of the week.
25. Sam Darnold, Seattle Seahawks

Sam Darnold
SEAQB25on
(Played on Thursday)
