The first injury report leading into Week 5 against the San Francisco 49ers is out. The biggest news on the Seattle Seahawks side is that defensive tackle Leonard Williams is a limited participant with an ankle injury he suffered late in last week’s game. This is welcome news and will be something to monitor for the rest of the week. When asked if Williams could play against the 49ers, head coach Mike Macdonald said “we’re looking forward to the game.”
Other names to keep an eye on throughout the week include linebacker Chazz Surratt, who did not practice with a leg injury. Right guard Beau Stephens (knee), cornerback Nehemiah Pritchett (ankle) linebacker Tyrice Knight (ankle), and running back George Holani (ribs) are all limited participants as well.
Ty Okada (hamstring) and Patrick O’Connell (thumb) were full participants in practice. Meanwhile, Jaxon Smith-Njigba did not practice (veteran rest day).
As for the 49ers, edge rusher Nick Bosa and fullback Kyle Juszczyk did not practice due to injury, however, neither is expected to play against Seattle. However, some other names that did not practice and are worth keeping an eye on are safety Marques Sigle (ankle), cornerback Upton Stout (shoulder), and defensive tackle James Thompson (ankle).
