The Baltimore Ravens are facing a nightmare scenario, even with a 4-4 record.
Lamar Jackson returned to the field on Sunday, only to suffer a likely season-ending thumb injury on his first throw. His entire tenure in Baltimore may be over as well.
For now, the team needs to focus on replacing Jackson and staying competitive to avoid a lost season. That task was made more difficult following the foot injury QB Tyler Huntley suffered on Sunday.
That leaves undrafted rookie Joe Fagnano from UConn as the next man up. That is, if he is healthy enough to play.
The Ravens HC made another announcement regarding the QB update
Ravens HC Jesse Minter spoke to the media on Monday and, according to insider Ian Rapoport, said Fagnano “has a chance” to play Thursday night against the Jacksonville Jaguars. He is reportedly dealing with an ankle injury.
