The Packers have made a decision on Josh Jacobs amid the latest allegations

Green Bay decided to stick with star running back Josh Jacobseven in spite of the latest allegations that have surfaced against him. ESPN’s Rob Demovsky reported that the Packers only learned of the allegations after they were uncovered by new police records released last week.

Those new records showed that at least three other women contacted police about alleged abuse they suffered at the hands of Jacobs. Those alleged incidents occurred in 2021 and in 2022 and involved multiple instances of alleged violence at Jacobs’ home (read the full details here).

Those women reportedly contacted police after learning of Jacobs’ arrest in May of this year on five battery-related charges for an incident involving his then-girlfriend. Jacobs pleaded no contest to the charges in September but spent six total games on the Commissioner’s Exempt List while the NFL conducts its own investigation into the situation.

Former NFL rushing yards leader Jacobs, 28, was delisted in late October and immediately became eligible to return to the Packers as a result. He has since appeared in the last two games for Green Bay, reclaiming his RB1 role and rushing for a total of 75 yards and a touchdown.

Jacobs’ attorneys have since issued strong denials of the latest allegations against the three-time Pro Bowler. But even before these new allegations broke, Jacobs was already drawing negative press for his controversial touchdown celebration in the wake of his original lawsuit.
