There was no shortage of offense in the Panthers’ win over the Lions. The teams combined for 897 offensive yards on 10 drives each.

Bryce Young continues to play at a high level. He finished the Week 4 contest with 329 yards and two passing touchdowns, rushing for another three yards.

However, second-year wide receiver Tetairoa McMillan was the story of the game. He caught 14 passes for 192 yards and two touchdowns. Running back Chubba Hubbard also rushed for 122 yards and two touchdowns.

Despite the loss, the Lions still put up big numbers. Quarterback Jared Goff completed 32 of his 52 pass attempts for 412 yards and a touchdown. Meanwhile, the usually explosive Jahmyr Gibbs was detained. He scored a touchdown, but only rushed for 46 yards on 16 carries. He also had 31 yards on four catches.

The Panthers entered their bye week on a high note. They will come off their bye by playing the Philadelphia Eagles, who just lost a heartbreaker to the Los Angeles Rams. The Lions will have a chance to bounce back from the loss when they play the 1-3 Arizona Cardinals.
