NFL Power Rankings, Week 6: Patriots and Packers rise after Week 5

Week five of the 2026 NFL season is almost in the books, and we have a lot to unpack from another action-packed week.

We had our first pair of teams on a bye this season with the Chiefs and Panthers both getting bye weeks, but even with only 30 of the 32 teams in action, there was plenty of drama, starting with a somewhat surprising upset of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers over the Dallas Cowboys on Thursday night.

Let’s not waste any more time. It’s time to jump into our latest NFL Power Rankings, looking at some of the biggest risers and fallers across the league after an exciting Week 5.

NFL Power Rankings, Week 6: Biggest risers and fallers after Week 5

32. Tennessee Titans

Last week: 32nd

If the Titans keep this up, they will be able to pair Carnell Tate with Jeremiah Smith.

The question is, who will be the under center for those two?

If you need any idea how little respect the Titans offense (and Cam Ward) is demanding from the opposition right now, you can read a few tea leaves with the whole Marvin Harrison Jr. situation. to find out.

Neither the Cardinals nor the Texans (allegedly) want anyone to know where Harrison was traded after Week 5, and you can assume the Texans just want it’s official win their game against the Titans before finalizing the deal.

And they easily defeated the Titans.

This is a team that could collectively take the next step if Cam Ward could take the next step independently, but that clearly isn’t happening. The longer it goes on, the more you start to wonder if the Titans will still view him as the future after this season. He had to take it.

31. Miami Dolphins

Last week: 31st

There was a point during the Dolphins’ Week 5 loss where quarterback Malik Willis had more interceptions (2) than completions (1), though that doesn’t exactly paint an accurate picture of how this game was played.

The Dolphins, while 0-5 so far this season, have made things interesting in some of their games this year. And isn’t that really what this fan base wants more than anything else? The Dolphins are a rebuilding/reloading team. They are in the discovery phase, trying to figure out which players could be part of the future for this team.

They’re still getting good roster reviews today despite the results, though head coach Jeff Hafley won’t win many awards for that. These are important games, and the Dolphins haven’t been as ridiculous as many expected.

With that in mind, if the results are going to start coming for this team, then they need to cut down on turnovers. They repeated it 3 times against the Bengals, and losing that battle was a real back-breaker.
