New York Jets News: Reverse of Fortunes in Injury News Pre-Dolphins Game

Are the boys back in town? New York Jets head coach Aaron Glenn announced that the two injured birds are starting to fly again.

Dylan Parham (knee) and Adonai Mitchell (finger) both returned to practice on Wednesday, October 21 on a limited basis. That’s not a guarantee they’ll be back for the Week 7 matchup against the Miami Dolphins, but it’s an encouraging sign they’re close. Neither player has participated in any level of practice in several weeks.

I’m not sure if a game against the winless Dolphins is when you’ll need these guys, but beggars can’t be choosers.

Frank Reich didn’t live up to the billing this season. Perhaps you can blame some of his struggles on injuries. If you’re one of those people, then this injury news should be a big boost for Reich and this offense.

Jordan Meredith has been underwhelming at left guard. Parham is playing at a high level. I don’t need to show you any flowcharts on why Adonai Mitchell would be an upgrade over Tim Patrick. Hopefully throughout the week they will continue to trend upwards towards play.
