It’s another Minnesota Vikings game day, folks! We’re waiting a bit longer than usual, but soon we’ll be able to watch our favorite team take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in hopes of pushing their record to 3-0 on the season. We want as many people as possible to get in on the action, so we’re going to give you all the ways you can do that right here.
The Vikings will, once again, play in the final part of the window this Sunday, with kickoff set for 3:05 PM Central Time. The game will air on the FOX family of networks, including KMSP-9 in the Twin Cities area. You can refer to our coverage map post to see which parts of the country will get this game on over-the-air television, but if you’re in those areas, you no catch an early game on your local FOX affiliate, as CBS has a doubleheader this week. If you’re outside of those areas, you’ll have to rely on YouTube TV NFL Sunday Ticket.
If you travel or just prefer to listen to things through the magic of radio, we’ve updated our list of Vikings Radio Network affiliates for this season. Wherever you are in the upper Midwest, you should be covered.
If you listen via satellite radio, you can find the Vikings feed on Channel 264. If you have the SiriusXM app, the Vikings’ permanent home is on Channel 820.
According to the folks from Football Zebras, the officiating crew this week will be led by Scott Novak. The last time the Vikings saw Novak’s staff was last December, when his staff held the Vikings to a 34-26 win over the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday Night Football in Dallas.
Today’s weather in Tampa is about as 180 from what we saw last week in Chicago as you can get, according to our friends at WeatherNation. Kickoff temperatures in central Florida were in the mid-80s under partly cloudy skies with almost no wind. It’s worth noting that the Buccaneers chose to wear their white jerseys, making the Vikings wear the purple jerseys they usually wear him in the Florida heat.
The Vikings remain a slight favorite going into this one. The line continues to show the Vikings favored by 1.5 points in this one, with the over/under resting at 42.5 points.
