This may come as a surprise given how bad the starting offense has been to start the season, but it looks like both Rashawn Slater and Joe Alt are still among the best tackles in the league (when healthy, of course).
When using the pass and run block grades from Pro Football Focus, both Slater and Alt are in the upper echelon of qualifying tackles (minimum 50 snaps played this season). In particular, Joe Alt is pretty close to being the best in the NFL. If you want to go to the right and up, it’s either him or Penei Sewell.
Now the question is, can they get and stay healthy?
