Baltimore Ravens starting quarterback Lamar Jackson’s ankle injury may be more serious than first thought.
Jackson suffered an ankle injury late in Sunday’s 24-18 home win over the Tennessee Titans. The Ravens listed him as questionable at halftime, and the QB did not return. He completed 15-of-20 passes for 222 yards and two touchdowns.
After the game, ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter shared that ESPN Ravens reporter Jamison Hensley saw Jackson wearing a walking boot. Baltimore rookie head coach Jesse Minter made no mention of the boot in his postgame news conference.
Jesse Minter spoke about Lamar Jackson’s status
Minter said the coaching staff considered letting Jackson play in the second half against the Titans and that this is not a sign that the ankle injury is a long-term issue. But the coach admitted he still needs to gather more information about the injury.
