Indianapolis Colts Injury Report: Week 7 Who’s In and Who’s Out

The Indianapolis Colts released their injury report today Friday ahead of week 7 of the NFL season against the Minnesota Vikings.

Cornerback Sauce Gardner (ribs) has been ruled OUT for Sunday’s game against the Vikings. With Gardner out, the Colts have an interesting choice to make at cornerback. The most likely move is to replace Gardner with Cam Taylor-Britt on the outside. However, they may still have to shuffle if Wally can’t come too.

Tight end Tyler Warren (groin) has been ruled OUT for Sunday’s game against the Vikings. Outside of Warren, expect a bigger rotation at tight end with Mo Alie-Cox, Drew Ogletree and Will Mallory getting more than normal snaps.

Linebacker CJ Allen (ankle) is listed as QUESTIONABLE for Sunday’s game against the Vikings. Allen injured his ankle in practice yesterday which limited him and was unable to practice today. Allen was seen today at practice wearing a walking boot. It seems more likely that Allen won’t miss this game in weeks. Fellow linebacker Bryce Boettcher (groin) is also listed as QUESTIONABLE. Boettcher made it through a full practice Thursday but missed both other cuts. Linebacker looks shaky this week so there may be a practice squad call for Germaine Pratt this week.

Punter Rigoberto Sanchez (foot) is listed as QUESTIONABLE for Sunday’s game against the Vikings. Sanchez did not practice all week and is likely to miss this weeks game. If Sanchez can’t play, expect a practice squad promotion for Thomas Moorstead.
