Thursday afternoon, former Bengals defensive end Trey Hendrickson addressed the media, letting the world know that he has forgiven the Bengals front office regarding his contract situation.
As soon as it hit his social media, Bengals fans and media immediately took to Twitter with their vociferous feelings about the situation…I’ll leave it at that. Many fans don’t realize that the team needs forgiveness.
Meanwhile, several Bengals players, including Tee Higgins, were asked about the situation after practice, and they responded with traditional, professional, and polite answers.
Right, wrong, or indifferent, Tee is a professional who has (I’m sure) the utmost respect for his former teammate and is willing to compete against him, along with Ja’Marr and Joe.
It might be a little different dealing with Trey on Joe’s end compared to Ja’Marr and Tee, but he seems to be looking forward to it.
Between the AFC North race and Hendrickson’s comment, this is shaping up to be one of the bigger games of the year. With it looking like Lamar Jackson will play, we’ll see if the Bengals can come out on top against one of the AFC’s best teams, as well as their former teammate.
