It looks like the Chargers got some bad news about one of their best players on Thursday.
After practicing in a limited manner on Wednesday, wide receiver Ladd McConkey did not practice on Thursday. Furthermore, as reporters entered the locker room, McConkey was seen leaving with a noticeable limp, according to ESPN’s Kris Rhim.
On the other side of the spectrum, cornerback Donte Jackson, who missed Wednesday’s practice with a concussion, returned Thursday wearing a gold “do not touch me” jersey. That’s good news for a team that looks shallow at cornerback without him.
The other positive news is defensive lineman Justin Eboigbe going from DNP to limited on Thursday with that eye injury. Safety Elijah Molden, who hasn’t played since Week 1, was also limited again.
Derwin James and Bud Dupree were both DNPs on Thursday, but each got a veteran day.
