Broncos News: Who needs picks when your offense is lacking?

Every year that goes by, I like to have draft picks more. I fully understand that they’re all essentially a roll of the dice, but I’d rather have a bunch of team improvement opportunities than not. In general, I’m not usually about trading mid-season picks.

I think this is the perfect time and place to let those picks fly. We just went through the wringer with our schedule where we easily had 6 losses at this point instead of 6 wins.

This team is trending, and the offense needs help. A play-making running back means too much.

This team legitimately has deep potential to make a playoff run. Push those chips into the middle in this year’s group.

Jonathan Taylor could be worth 2nd, 3rd, and 5th. Breece Hall could be less. Tony Pollard could come out of the picture for the Broncos.

I honestly don’t care which one. Any of them will help this team finish the season strong.

This doesn’t mean I don’t believe in Jonah Coleman. I love Coleman so much. Right now, all we need is one more injury to ask Bo Nix to throw 40+ passes a game. In my opinion, tidying up the room with an infusion of talent is overdone.

Most fans I meet are clamoring for a trade quite a bit. I’d love to hear from you all in the comments whether you’re for or against a trade. Do you value picks over a veteran back?
