The Jaguars had a bye in Week Seven but that didn’t stop them from seeing some movement in the power rankings this week.
According to NFL.com’s Nick Shook, the Jags fell to No. 6 after their bye, mainly due to the Bengals jumping on them after their win over the Ravens.
“The move around the Jaguars lead to a one-spot drop after a bye week spent licking their wounds following a last-second loss to Houston in London. A favorable ramp back into the rhythm of the regular season awaits with a home date against the struggling Colts, but a test lies ahead when the Jags head to Baltimore to face the Ravens on Thursday Night Football in Week 9.”
