Best NFL bets on FanDuel for Sunday, Oct. 4
Chiefs -4.5 vs. Raiders
The Chiefs getting off to a hot start in 2026 won’t surprise many fans, as Patrick Mahomes is ready to go in Week 1 and Super Bowl MVP Kenneth Walker has injected life into this offense. However, the Raiders are also 3-0 under first-year head coach Klint Kubiak. Kirk Cousins led this offense well, and the Las Vegas defense held its own in key areas. However, SportsLine’s model sees the winning run ending for Las Vegas as Kansas City covers the spread in 55% of simulations in a 28-21 victory. Panthers +3.5 vs. Lions
Detroit scored 31 points in each of its three games this year, while the Panthers scored 61 points in the first two games before managing just 18 in Week 3. These offensive heavyweights will face off on Sunday Night Football in Charlotte, where the Panthers are 6-2 ATS as underdogs. Despite Carolina being without its two best cornerbacks and Detroit’s offense humming, SportsLine’s model sees the home team covering the spread in 54% of simulations in a 28-27 Detroit win.
