We have a little time to wait before the Minnesota Vikings take the field this Sunday, and as you know, that can only mean one thing around these parts.
Yes, it is. . .for the third time in four weeks to start this season. . .a modified, limited, RED ZONE SUNDAY here at your favorite Minnesota Vikings website, where we can hang out for a while and watch the rest of the league while we wait for our game to start.
Why does this thing wake up so early, you may ask? Well, because we have the first International Series game of the year today, as the Indianapolis Colts and Washington Commanders meet today at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London. That game starts at 8:30 AM Central, so if any of you are up and watching, you can hang around here and talk about it.
(I’m going to be asleep because, well, it’s Sunday, but you do you.)
For the rest, here are the broadcast maps for the early window from the folks at 506 Sports. Remember, CBS has the doubleheader this week, so if your local FOX affiliate is showing the Dolphins/Vikings game this afternoon, you will NOT have the game on FOX in the first part of the window. That will be the orange area on the FOX map below.
Games on FOX (all early except orange area)
Look at that. . .you can avoid the Packers and Jonathan Vilma and together. A blessing, good and true.
Our game starts around 3:00 PM Central, so the Open Thread for that will fall around that 2:30 PM Central Time. Look out for that one, and we hope to see you there when it starts!
