The fourth weekend of the 2026 NFL season is here!
Let’s review the rooting guide dedicated to the Philadelphia Eagles for all Week 4 games.
LOS ANGELES RAMS and PHILADELPHIA EAGLES: Losing to the Rams was a big deal. Not only because it keeps the Eagles from dropping to 2-2 … but also because it gives Philly the head-to-head tiebreaker in LA. Putting the Rams in a 1-3 hole sounds good too. The Eagles would have to pull off an upset for this to happen. Go Birds.
INDIANAPOLIS COLTS at WASHINGTON COMMANDERS: The Commanders are 1-2 after Marcus Mariota led them to an upset win over another Washington football team last week. Don’t want to see this team build any momentum before Jayden Daniels returns from injury. Root for the Colts.
ARIZONA CARDINALS at NEW YORK GIANTS: The Giants are 2-1. If they win this game, they will be 3-1 with more winnable games to come. It’s better to see them not believing in themselves that they can win games without Jaxson Dart. Root for the Cardinals.
DALLAS COWBOYS at HOUSTON TEXANS: The Cowboys are the biggest threat to the Eagles threepeating as division champs. Root for the Texans.
If the Eagles win out and lose all of their division opponents, the NFC East standings would look like this:
1) Eagles: 3-1
2) Giants: 2-2
3) Cowboys: 1-3
4) Commanders: 1-3
NEW YORK JETS at CHICAGO BEARS: Ben Johnson is said to be Vic Fangio’s kryptonite. The Eagles don’t want to see the Bears in the playoffs. Root for the Jets.
GREEN BAY PACKERS at TAMPA BAY BUCCANEERS: Neither team is very impressive but the Packers have the better record (1-2 vs. 0-3). Maybe root for the Packers to lose so the Eagles can’t catch up. Root for the Buccaneers.
MIAMI DOLPHINS at MINNESOTA VIKINGS: AFC team over NFC team, especially with an NFC team that is undefeated and ahead of the Eagles in the NFC playoff picture. Root for the Dolphins.
DENVER BRONCOS at SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS: The Niners seem to be in trouble. Root for the Broncos.
LOS ANGELES CHARGERS at SEATTLE SEAHAWKS: AFC team to NFC team. Root for the Chargers.
DETROIT LIONS at CAROLINA PANTHERS: The Lions are the bigger threat in the NFC. Root for the Panthers.
ATLANTA FALCONS at NEW ORLEANS SAINTS: The Saints have shown a higher ceiling thus far. Maybe they are the bigger threat. Root for the Falcons.

NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS at BUFFALO BILLS: The Eagles own the better of two 2027 fifth-round picks from the Pats or Bears. Might as well root against New England. Root for the Bills.
JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS at CINCINNATI BENGALS: The Eagles play the Jags next weekend. Hoping the Eagles beat them, you want the Jags to have as good a record as possible to help shore up Philly’s tiebreaker win. Root for the Jaguars.
TENNESSEE TITANS at BALTIMORE RAVENS: The Eagles beat the Titans in Week 2. Philly’s tiebreaker win streak will get even better if the Titans win. Root for the Titans.
KANSAS CITY CHIEFS and LAS VEGAS RAIDERS: No Eagles impact but more fun to root for Nakobe Dean’s Raiders in this matchup.
