2027 NFL Draft Stock Report – 10/13/27

2027 NFL Draft Stock Up

Nick Marsh, WR, Indiana

Marsh threw two big touchdowns to help Indiana avoid an upset at Nebraska. Marsh totaled 187 yards on six receptions with two scores to lead the Hoosiers to a 20-17 win. Marsh is a bit under the radar, playing opposite Charlie Becker, but Marsh is a top portal talent with a great combination of size and speed. Marsh illustrated his early-round skill set, and he could be a riser in the coming months.

Princewill Umanmelen, DE, LSU

Umanmielen is one of the most productive pass rushers in the country this season with eight sacks and 26 tackles. In 2025 with Ole Miss, Umanmielen had nine sacks with 45 tackles. Umanmielen (6-4, 244) has some rush ability off the edge, but he lacks suddenness. As a result, he could be more than a two-day prospect for the 2027 NFL Draft. However, Umanmielen has been a consistent and productive quarterback hunter which helps his draft stock for next April.

Eliot Washington II, CB, Clemson

While Ashton Hampton has gotten more media attention, Washington is having a great season for Clemson. He is a smooth cover corner who has shown impressive ball skills this season with three interceptions and four passes broken up to go along with 18 tackles. Washington (5-11, 200) has two-day potential and could be a riser during the draft process.

Zereoue Williams, OT, Utah

Williams broke into the starting lineup at left tackle in the 2025 season, and he’s been a sleeper that’s created good buzz for NFL teams. The 6-foot-8, 305-pounder is a tall, long tackle who challenges rushers to run. Williams has shown improvement as a run blocker and pass protector and is playing well in 2026. Sources say Williams is on the rise.

Devan Thompkins, DL, Alabama

In 2026, Thompkins has been great for Alabama. He is strong at the point of attack as a run defender and shows the versatility to rush the quarterback from the end or tackle. He can be a strong base end on run down kicks inside in the sub package. So far in 2026, Thompkins has 19 tackles with three sacks and a forced fumble. In 2025 at USC, Thompkins had 31 tackles with three sacks. At 6-foot-5, 300 pounds, Thompkins has versatile size with strength and length. Right now, it looks like he could be a second-round pick next April.

Luke Reynolds, TE, Virginia Tech

This season, Reynolds is one of the most dangerous tight ends in college football and has been very productive for the Hokies. In 2026, Reynolds had 41 receptions for 431 yards and four touchdowns. Reynolds had a decent 2025 season with Penn State, catching 26 passes for 257 yards. The 6-foot-4, 250-pound Reynolds has quality size to go along with speed and athleticism. Reynolds is rising and impressing at Virginia Tech.

2027 NFL Draft Stock Down

Arch Manning, QB, Texas

Manning had a rough performance against Oklahoma that will go along with his draft grade among pro teams. He completed 19-of-31 passes for 260 yards with three touchdowns and two interceptions that cost his team the game. Early in the fourth quarter, Manning made a terrible play. He rolled to his right and lifted the ball deep into the field. The ball went through his receivers and into a crowd of Sooners defenders. Peyton Bowen easily intercepted it and returned it for a 43-yard touchdown to give Oklahoma a 24-17 lead with 10 minutes left. Manning dropped back to throw a superb deep ball to Cam Coleman through two defenders. It was a great throw as Manning stepped on a hit and delivered a bullseye. A few plays later, he connected with Jermaine Bishop Jr., and he ran into the end zone for a 15-yard touchdown to tie the game at 24. Manning helped move the ball for a long field goal that was missed, and he got the ball with about a minute left. He used his legs for a first down, but then Manning made a bad decision while coming up on a blitz; he looked and threw late, moving his progressions to his right, and that allows a cornerback to easily step in front of a receiver for an interception.

Overall, this tape will be a negative for Manning. While he threw some nice deep balls, Manning threw two interceptions in the fourth quarter that put the game away. Manning could stand to be quicker at reading defenses and getting the ball out. Early in the game, he took a few coverage sacks, but Manning was smart not to force the ball on some dangerous throws. He didn’t make the same decisions in the fourth quarter, and his turnovers cost Texas the game. Manning will need to return in the coming weeks.
