It’s Week 5, and the slate of games begins with a Thursday night showdown between two teams that may be headed in opposite directions.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are one of five winless teams—and the only one in the NFC. The seat is getting warmer for Todd Bowles in his fifth season with the team. He posted just a 35-37 record as the Buccaneers’ head coach, and never posted more than 10 wins in a season.
Meanwhile, the Cowboys only have a mediocre 2-2 record through four games, but it’s been a good week for them. They started with the big trade for Joey Porter Jr. This was followed by a big late win against the Houston Texans. And you better believe they’re enjoying this week’s blowout of the Philadelphia Eagles.
