Welcome to SB Nation Reacts, a survey of fans across the NFL. Throughout the year, we ask the most plugged-in fans and Seahawks fans across the country.
Welcome to another Seahawks Reacts survey! It’s San Francisco 49ers week! The last two times the Seahawks and 49ers met, the Seahawks scored 54 points while the Niners put up… 9. Nine. Nine. Neuf. They could only muster three field goals. The last touchdown they scored against the Seahawks was, well, we don’t want to talk about that. This is Jake Tonges’ best moment and one of Riq Woolen’s worst. Riq is on another team and Tonges is on IR.
Our main question of the week is how many offensive touchdowns the 49ers will score on Sunday. I emphasized offensive touchdowns because if the 49ers score on a pick-six or a special teams touchdown, that shouldn’t fall to The Dark Side’s defense. Over the past three games, Seattle has allowed just two offensive TDs to San Francisco. In 2024, the pre-Ernest Jones defense (and no Byron Murphy II) was cut for four TDs and 36 points, but in the rematch at Santa Clara, the 49ers put up just two TDs in a dramatic last-minute win over the Seahawks. In Mike Macdonald’s short tenure as Seahawks coach, he has limited the 49ers’ offense more often than not. Can he do it again?
Another question is the confidence survey, which you’ve done a million times and know what the voting options are. If you don’t vote, that just means the n is smaller for me to take data from.
How many touchdowns will the Niners score?
Do you have confidence in the Seahawks?
Are you sure the Seahawks are headed in the right direction?
Each week of the season, we’ll ask fans if they think the team is moving in the right direction. This allows us to monitor the level of confidence in the fan base throughout the season and analyze what events have the greatest impact on fan support.
