Seattle’s backfield became a 3-man committee in Denver on Thursday night, where WR-turned-RB Velus Jones saw his most extensive action of the season. RB Emanuel Wilson led the way with 14 carries but managed just 52 scoreless yards. Jones hit the field on the Seahawks’ first possession and finished with 4 carries for 20 yards, including 1 catch for minus-1 yards. RB George Holani led the trio in fantasy points thanks to a 1-yard TD late in the fourth quarter. He benefited from the trailing game script, rushing Seattle’s RBs with a 58% snap rate and 50% route rate. Wilson played 32% of the offensive snaps; Jones 11%.
2026 Fantasy Football Impact: Short-Term Avoidance, Long-Term Value Still Possible
This backfield is about to get even more chaotic with RB Zach Charbonnet reportedly on track to make his 2026 debut in Week 7. RB Jadarian Price is eligible to come off IR for Week 8.
We’ll keep an eye on those guys, but this looks like a backfield that should be avoided in fantasy lineups at least for the tough Week 7 matchup against the Chiefs.
Charbonnet and Price remain worth keeping as the best touch bets when healthy.
Seattle has the fourth-easiest RB schedule through Week 8, including particularly attractive spots against the Cowboys in Week 13 and the Panthers in Week 17.
