Jacksonville Jaguars Wide receiver Brian Thomas Jr. has no shortage of suitors ahead of the 2026 NFL trade deadline.
The Jaguars kept Thomas on the trade block this season. But ESPN’s Adam Schefter recently reported that Jacksonville has warmed to the idea of trading Thomas for the right price.
Several teams are reportedly eyeing Thomas. According to Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk, the Kansas City ChiefsPittsburgh Steelersand Washington Commanders all “have an interest” in discussing a deal for Thomas. Per Florio, Indianapolis Colts wide Josh Downs is another name that is both Steelers and Chiefs.
Thomas, Jacksonville’s 2024 first-round pick, had a spectacular rookie campaign that earned him a Pro Bowl nod and fourth place for Offensive Rookie of the Year. He caught 87 passes for 1,282 yards and 10 touchdowns in 17 games.
After a stellar 2025 campaign, Thomas has been an afterthought in the Jaguars offense this season. In seven games, Thomas has recorded just 10 receptions for 117 yards and one touchdown. The 5-2 Jaguars instead relied on wideouts Parker Washington and Jakobi Meyers and tight end Brenton Strange for most of their offense.
The big question is what Thomas would actually get in a trade. The Jaguars and interested suitors saw what Thomas was able to do in his first year. But his declining production this season could deter teams from committing significant draft capital to acquire him.
