The Rams signed kicker Blake Grupe after Week 5. They will sign another kicker after Week 6.
By Arash Markazi of The Sporting TribuneThe Group left SoFi Stadium while his leg was in a brace and on crutches. This is a result of Grupe’s trying to make a tackle on a kickoff return.
The attempt took courage, especially since he is listed at 5-7 and 156 pounds. (Which could mean he’s actually shorter and lighter than that.)
Either way, the hit appears to end Grupe’s time with the Rams. The next question is whether they bring back Harrison Mevis or look elsewhere for help.
And that’s far from the Rams’ biggest problem. They are 2-4 after six games, and are inching closer to too many losses to qualify for the postseason.
Can they get hot? Yes. are they We’ll find out, one game at a time.
