🏈 Would You Bet Against Patrick Mahomes?
The undefeated Chiefs are underdogs. And the defending Super Bowl champions are looking for answers.
Kansas City is 5-0 heading into Sunday night’s game at Seattle (8:20 p.m. ET, NBC), but the Chiefs are 3-point underdogs against a Seahawks team that has stumbled to a 3-3 start.
The game also brings an intriguing reunion: Seattle will get a first-hand look at what Super Bowl MVP running back Kenneth Walker does for his new team in Kansas City.
Matt Youmans is struggling to pass Mahomes and the points.
“It won’t be any kind of surprise if the Seahawks come back to get a much-needed win, but getting Mahomes and the points is a tough offer to turn down.”

Wes Reynolds isn’t entirely convinced that Kansas City’s perfect record tells the whole story.
“5-0 is 5-0, but the Chiefs did it against the No. 30 schedule.”

From Circa sportsbook: Seattle moved from -2.5 to -3 over the week.

🏈 National Tight End Day: More Than Props?
It’s National Tight End Day, and Circa owner Derek Stevens expects the betting impact to extend beyond tight end props.
Circa’s owner said sportsbooks typically see increased interest in tight end receptions and touchdown props. But he’s also watching game totals, which he expects to increase based on past seasons.
John Hansen has five solid props at the end of his 18 recommendations for the weekend.

Pro Tip: The Rams receivers dined at Barry’s Prime at Circa on Saturday night. I asked Derek Stevens what Puka Nacua looked like.

🏆 What Tournament Players Rate
The Bengals are the most popular Circa Million choice, and the number helps explain why.
Cincinnati appears +1.5 at 1,982 out of 5,720 submitted cardsmaking it No. 1 selection for Week 7.
With Lamar Jackson gone, Circa moved to the Bengals -3 on Saturday. That gives participants holding +1.5 a 4.5-point advantage in that market number.
The next four most popular picks: Lions -3, Seahawks -2.5, Raiders +4 and Panthers -3.
Cincinnati also has support in other VSiN tournaments. 87% of Average Joe picks Bengals–Ravens and four of the five Circa Friday Football Invitational matchup selections are on the Bengals.
Meanwhile, 87% of Average Joe Browns–Titans picks favor Cleveland -2 — a consensus that makes Adam Burke, a Cleveland native, a little nervous.

🏈 And Then There Are Three
The list of undefeated college football teams dwindled from four to three Saturday.

- No. 1 Miami (8-0): Beat Pitt 52-23.
- No. 9 UCLA (8-0): Beat Michigan State 28-10.
- No. 10 Utah (7-0): Beat Houston 21-13.
⚾ Are the Brewers making a run at the World Series?
Down 4-0 before they even hit, the Brewers rallied to defeat the Rays 5-4 in Game 2. Milwaukee now leads the series 2-0.
“The Brewers are a certified cart,” said Adam Burke of VSiN, pointing to Aaron Ashby’s impressive performance in the postseason as a major reason for Milwaukee’s success.
Next Monday: Milwaukee faces former Brewer Freddy Peralta, with Robert Gasser emerging as another key weapon.
Adam’s verdict: “This streak may be coming to an end.”
