Agent Drew Rosenhaus recently suggested that veteran wide receiver Tyreek Hill could find a new NFL home amid his recovery from a gruesome knee injury. he suffered while with the The Miami Dolphins are on September 29, 2025.
That said, Hill remains the subject of an active review of the NFL’s personal conduct policy after his estranged wife came forward with allegations of domestic violence against him. A civil proceedings about those accusations began this week, and Hill took the stand Thursday.
Tyreek Hill admitted that he pushed his estranged wife against the wall
According to Xuan Thai of ESPN, Hill said she was “embarrassed” after her husband “initiated an intimate encounter” following their April 2025 split.
“I told him that night, I said, ‘don’t touch me in your life,'” Hill explained. “I pushed him against the wall, and I tried to force him to get off me. I made a hole in the wall trying to force him to get off me that night. …I picked up. [his daughter]you know, the next day, literally with the police. She is wearing lingerie. He didn’t expect that.”
Hill also said she was “deeply ashamed” of the moment when she said she was “making people hurt” her estranged wife. However, she denied that he had physically abused her on multiple occasions.
How Thursday could affect Tyreek Hill’s NFL future
As shared by the NFL’s website, Hill has been temporarily banned from everything Kansas City Chiefs group related activities throughout springtime workouts in 2019 as a result of a child abuse investigation. He was ultimately not charged with a crime, and the NFL did not suspend him at that time.
However, Pro Football Talk’s Mike Florio noted on Friday that “the civil litigation is very aggravating [Hill’s] desire to play again” as soon as possible.
“Even if the NFL chose not to fire him with the opportunity to apply for reinstatement after a year — the strongest penalty available under the personal conduct policy — what team in its right mind would sign him after the testimony of the past few days?” Florio added.
While many stories have linked Hill to a potential return to the Chiefs, a report on Wednesday indicated that Kansas City can and should look elsewhere for help at the position. It looks like this week’s events may cause the Chiefs to do just that.
