The NFL has almost passed the first quarter of the season mark at this point (technically after one quarter of play next week), and as is the case with every iteration of our Miami Dolphins, there are early surprises, both the good surprises and the surprises that are actually more difficult than anything positive. I suspect that the surprises are never more obvious than at the beginning of a rebuild, where some of us are veterans of the era, who have gone through many of these “rebuilds” of something that never seems to be completed. So are they really rebuilding if the construction isn’t finished?

What are your biggest surprises in the 2026-2027 version of our Miami Dolphins, both good and bad with this team and roster so far, through four games of the season?
