Just a few days after being traded, Marvin Harrison Jr. was on the field in a game with his new team on Sunday.
And while he won’t break out in a big game in 2026, Harrison contributed to the Houston Texans’ 34-31 win over the AFC South rival Jacksonville Jaguars.

In his debut with the Texans, the former Arizona Cardinals wide receiver caught three passes on four targets for 34 yards, averaging 11.3 yards per catch. Jaylin Noel and Nico Collins both outplayed Harrison in the game, allowing quarterback CJ Stroud to still make sure to incorporate the former first-round pick into the offense as the Texans scored a season-high 34 points against the Jaguars.
‘I feel great. I came here to help the team win games, and we did that,” Harrison said reporters, including Aaron Wilson of KPRC-TV in Houston, after the game.
Harrison’s targets and production are coming close to doubling what he registered in a disappointing four games with the Cardinals before the trade. He now has eight receptions on 17 targets for 119 yards and a touchdown in five games this season.
