Attorneys for Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs have issued a response to the new allegations against their client.
The release of new police files indicated that Jacobs faced allegations of domestic violence against three other women following his arrest in May. In a statement, his lawyers described those allegations as “unconfirmed, old and previously unreported.”
“(The Brown County District Attorney’s office) conducted their own thorough investigation, along with the police department, and the DA determined that only two misdemeanor charges were warranted,” the statement added.
“They then entered into a plea agreement with Josh Jacobs. Josh repeatedly expressed his remorse and respected the terms of the agreement.”
