Tuesday’s NFL trade list featured plenty of familiar names and an interesting test for the Detroit Lions.
To start, two former Lions centers got a tryout for the Baltimore Ravens: Graham Glasgow and Kingsley Eguakun. Glasgow is a 10-year veteran who started 14 games for the Lions at center last year, but Detroit cut him in a salary cap saving move, and the former Michigan Wolverine hasn’t signed anywhere since. Eguakun started several games for the Lions last year, his second season in Detroit. However, at the end of the season, he was poached by the Browns from Detroit’s practice squad. He failed to make the Browns’ final roster this year, then spent several weeks on the Giants’ practice squad.
The Ravens failed to re-sign Tyler Linderbaum this offseason, opting instead to rely on veteran Danny Pinter. Unfortunately, Pinter suffered a season-ending injury during the preseason, leaving the job to Jovaughn Gwyn. But in Week 3 both Gwyn and his backup, Ethan Pocic, suffered long-term injuries, leaving the Ravens with a big hole at center.
As for the Lions, they worked out wide receiver Lawrence Keys on Tuesday. If that name sounds familiar, he’s one of four UFL receivers signed by Detroit this offseason, along with Tay Martin, Tarik Black, and Lucky Jackson. Keys never really got a chance to make the Lions’ roster, as he was cut due to an injury settlement in early August. Now it appears that his injury recovery period has passed and Detroit may be interested in continuing his development. Or they could just evaluate his health from the hamstring injury.
In other Lions-related news, former Detroit safety Tracy Walker has served his suspension for an unspecified violation. Walker received a 12-game suspension for the 2025 season, then another three-game suspension for 2026. He hasn’t worked with an NFL team since a brief stint on the 49ers practice squad in 2024.
In addition, former Lions guard Kevin Zeitler visited the Packers on Tuesday, as Green Bay tries to resolve their offensive line issues.
