The Philadelphia Eagles are 2-0 heading into their Week 3 Monday Night Football against the Chicago Bears.
There is still room to grow for the Eagles offense, but things are looking promising under new OC Sean Mannion. Quarterback Jalen Hurts has been excellent, and the wide receivers have collectively done an impressive job of making clutch catches in bounds. The offensive line is still adjusting to the movement up front, and Cam Jurgens will have another week under his belt at left guard, and Drew Kendall will get more reps at center, and hopefully some consistency in that group will lead to a bigger run game.
One of the more interesting position groups for the Eagles on Monday night will be at tight end. Dallas Goedert will miss this week’s game with an injury, and Zach Ertz has a chance to play less than a week after re-signing with the team. It will be a matter of if, and when, Ertz takes the field again as a player for the Eagles, but he seems to have gotten used to the place he calls home.

The Eagles defense has had a tough week of preparation as they wait to hear who will start at QB for the Bears. DC Vic Fangio said they will prepare for the offense as a whole, but need to focus on stopping the run — something they really struggled to do last year. Defensive tackle Jordan Davis admitted it was embarrassing to re-watch the film from last year’s loss to Chicago, but there was a lot to learn, and hopefully they did.
