Budda Baker answers trade questions while wearing a Halloween mask in the surreal scene

Buddha Baker is prioritizing Halloween over the NFL trade deadline.

The Arizona Cardinals safety Baker went viral on Friday for his surreal press conference. Baker asked about the looming trade deadline … while wearing a full clown costume and mask for Halloween on Saturday.

“I just live in the present,” Baker said, his voice clearly muffled by the mask. “Like today, having a good time with you guys. Will have a good practice on Friday and just focus on playing against the Dallas Cowboys [on Sunday] and trying to get a W in their stadium.”

Here is the strange video.

Baker nodding his spooky Halloween head as the reporter asks the question must have stirred things up there. While Baker usually terrorizes wide receivers running slant routes, he certainly terrorized everyone sitting in the press room Friday.

An eight-time Pro Bowler, Baker, 30, was a prime trade candidate before the Nov. deadline. 10 where the Cardinals fell to an NFC West-worst 2-5. Baker made some intriguing comments earlier this week about his situation in Arizona and now seems to be trying to (literally) scare off any teams that might be interested in trading for him.
