With sports betting more popular than ever, it’s time to share some betting options for the Cincinnati Bengals as they head south to face the Miami Dolphins in Week 5.
Like myself, I’m pretty sure the Bengals haven’t been the best to cheer or bet on, so I’m hoping for a big turnaround week. That is also why we will play it safe.
The Dolphins’ passing game hasn’t been the best, as they are 30th in the league, averaging only about 160 yards per game. Their rushing attack isn’t the best by any means either, but they are averaging over 100 yards per game, 19th in the league.
Although the Dolphins are ranked last through the air, the Bengals defense is just ahead of them, 26th, in passing yards allowed. It will be a fair matchup in the air, but I expect the Bengals to win the rushing attack battle, ranked 8th, allowing less than 100 yards on the ground per game.
It’s uncertain whether or not the Bengals will be with their two best receivers Sunday, though both practiced this week, with Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins both listed as questionable.
If both Chase and Higgins play, I expect big games from both, as Chase and Joe Burrow look for bounce-back games, while Tee looks to build on last week. Even though Burrow had two costly interceptions, he still threw for over 400 yards. The Dolphins defense is 19th in passing yards allowed.
Running back Chase Brown hasn’t had the year he expected and is looking for his breakout game. He’s always been a key part of the game plan, and the Dolphins are 15th in the league, allowing nearly 110 yards per game.
Personally, I’m a sucker for high-risk, high-reward, but if we want to play it safe, here are a few more options.
Based on Ja’Marr not playing:
5-leg parlay ($10 bet) – approximately $150-$350
6-leg parlay ($10) – approximately $150-$400
All odds are subject to change up to game time, so there are no currently set odds or specific payouts.
