We got our one win, and at this point I’m less concerned with the scoreboard than I am with seeing which players are advancing and which aren’t.
I really hope there is a young edge rusher on the roster who looks like a legitimate developmental piece. I still don’t believe in Chop Robinson. He’s played better lately, and credit where it’s due, but I’m not sold yet.
I’m interested to see if Caleb Douglas can build on his recent performance and make an impact again. It will also be encouraging to see Chris Bell put together a solid outing. On the ground, I’d love to see Ollie over 100 yards again. If Miami gets one of those hot, humid afternoons, a big back who keeps moving the chains could catch wind of Patriots defenders in the fourth quarter.
If they can keep the game reasonably competitive, that will be a positive. At this stage, player development is just as important as the final score, if not more so.
