Vikings-Colts Second Injury Report | Everyday Norseman

The Minnesota Vikings and Indianapolis Colts released their second injury reports ahead of their Sunday afternoon matchup at US Bank Stadium. Here they are.

Injury Report Terms and Glossary

Definitions of damage assignment:

Probable = the league defines a Probable injury designation as a 75% or greater chance of playing. Historically, 95% of players designated as probable are active and playing on game day.

Doubtful = the league defines a Doubtful injury designation as ‘uncertain’ whether or not the player will play. This replaces the previous definition of having a 50% chance to play. Historically, 70-75% of players with a Questionable injury designation are active and played on game day.

Doubtful = The league designates a Doubtful injury designation as meaning the player is unlikely to participate in the game. In practical terms, teams use the designation when a player has less than a 50% chance to suit up, and active game appearances from this designation remain rare. Historically, only about 6% of players with a Doubtful designation are active and playing on game day.

Out = won’t play. Players with this designation are inactive on game day and are prohibited by league rules from playing.

For the Vikings, full roster participation aside from those on injured reserve. Not likely to be any damage assignments.

For the Colts, they have several players who have upgraded and added linebacker CJ Allen. But starters Sauce Gardner, Tyler Warren, and Rigoberto Sanchez didn’t practice for the second straight day Thursday, making their availability Sunday even more in doubt.

We’ll see what damage assignments are handed down tomorrow.
