Ahead of their NFC North showdown with the Detroit Lions, the Minnesota Vikings have made one final move to bolster their roster.
The team announced that they have elevated running back DeeJay Dallas to the active roster before Sunday’s game.

This is the third elevation of the year for Dallas, so if the Vikings want to have him available moving forward, they will need to sign him to the 53-man roster. He was elevated before the regular-season opener against Green Bay and was also elevated before last week’s game against Indianapolis.
Dallas has been on the Vikings’ roster for all seven of the team’s games this season. In addition to his three elevations from the practice squad, he was on the 53-man roster for four games after the team signed him after they placed Jordan Mason on IR for his thumb injury following the season opener. When Mason was brought back before the Colts game, the team released Dallas and immediately re-signed him to the practice squad.
For the season, he carried the ball three times for ten yards, and caught four passes for an additional 34 yards.
That will do for roster moves for the Vikings before Sunday’s game. We’ll be airing our Open Thread for Week 8 at 11:30 AM Central, and we hope you’ll join us for all the action!
