What an absolute wild week of NFL games in Week 3 of the 2026 season.
It’s been a rollercoaster ride of a season already, but this week took some particularly dramatic twists and turns.
The Jacksonville Jaguars bounced back from a loss with the most impressive win of the week. The Raiders are…good? The Browns and Deshaun Watson are…good? Washington Commanders upset the reigning Super Bowl champs with their backup QB? The Denver Broncos and Los Angeles Rams gave us an absolutely ridiculous thriller on Sunday night.

32. Miami Dolphins
Last week: 31st
The Miami Dolphins have some indeed exciting pieces for the present and future of this organization, but this year will be one tough pill to swallow after another.
Against the Kansas City Chiefs, they got some brutal injury news to add to the insult of losing the game, as De’Von Achane suffered what appeared to be a serious knee injury. Achane is the only true star player on Miami’s roster, and without him in the lineup, the fear is that this offense will become one-dimensional very quickly.
I was surprised to see the Dolphins fight back like they did against the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday. The point of the game was a game where the Dolphins had several penalties, including roughing Chop Robinson’s pass, and Miami never recovered after that.
The good news for the Dolphins is that Jacob Rodriguez looks like an absolute star in the making.
31. Tennessee Titans
Last week: 30th
The Tennessee Titans need to find a way to get Cam Ward into games quickly. The lackadaisical way he operates is sometimes maddening. He hasn’t reached the point of “arriving” in his career where he can just go out there casually returning the ball to his running back. He has been making some bad decisions this season in the red zone, and that showed in the Titans loss against the New York Giants.
Especially late.
Ward threw a nasty interception to end the game after also having another pass earlier in the game almost intercepted in a goal-to-go situation.
Even with a matchup against a team playing their backup quarterback, and even in scoring range late in the game, the Titans were still brutal in the situation.
Cam Ward needs to start showing improvement in his decision making consistently throughout the games. We’ve seen a lot of good throws from him, but he still doesn’t seem to know how to consistently play against NFL defenses.
