New York Jets News: Colts Burn It to the Ground Ahead of NFL Trade Deadline

Oh boy, it couldn’t have worked out better for the New York Jets! Well, I guess we can win at the same time as the Indianapolis Colts burn to the ground, but beggars can’t be choosers, I guess.

The Colts are having a fire sale before the 2026 NFL trade deadline! They’ve already shipped out former All-Pros Quenton Nelson and DeForest Buckner, but there could be more to come. Indy removed all the copper pipes from their damaged house, trying to get whatever value they could. As long as they continue to do that, they will be worse off in 2026.

Jets fans, let me speak directly to you. We haven’t had a true franchise quarterback in a long time. There are two types of teams in the NFL: the haves and the have-nots. Those with QBs look good and have a chance to win it all every year. Those who don’t are swimming in circles with no real shot of having confetti rain on them.

The most important thing for the Jets is getting that QB. The Colts give us the best chance to finally make it in the upcoming 2027 NFL Draft. We still have more time before the trade deadline. The Colts should continue to set things on fire, and we, as Jets fans, will be dancing around the fire doing a strange dance of euphoria.
