Pitts had his breakout performance, catching five of 6 targets for 42 yards and a TD on his way to his first TE1 finish of the season. It came as the Falcons TE scored his first TD this season, a 5-yarder that ended just before the half of their overtime loss to the Ravens. Unfortunately, Pitts was unable to extend its 15.2 PPR point season-high in overtime with QB Tua Tagovailoa throwing an INT on the second play of their possession to end the game.

After failing to top 8.0 PPR points through the first four games of the season, Pitts posted 15.2 PPR points to finish as the TE1 for the first time since he finished last season ranked as the TE1 in five of the last six weeks.
Pitts’ most recent outing produced more PPR points than his previous four combined.
His season-high before Week 5 was 7.7 PPR points, ranking as TE24 that week. He is TE56 on the season, averaging 2.9 PPR points per game. Even in games started by QB Michael Penix, Pitts is still averaging 4.6 PPR points per game.
But despite the latest success, Pitts faces a tough Week 6 challenge against a Bears defense that allowed the third fewest points to TEs before this week.
