Deion Sanders sent a heartfelt message to Jalen Hurts after blood clot diagnosis

Philadelphia Eagles star quarterback Jalen Hurts was out indefinitely after being diagnosed with blood clots, and Colorado Buffaloes Head coach Deion Sanders sent a message of support.

On Tuesday, Sanders began his press conference by saying he was “praying” for Hurts

“I know what he’s going through. I know what he’s going through. I’m praying for him,” Sanders said. “I pray to God that he is gone for the rest of his career.”

Hurts was ruled out of the previous game due to blood clots found in his calf. He was then placed on Injured Reserve on Monday, and Hurts’ agent, Nicole Lynn, said he could miss three months depending on how everything goes.

Deion Sanders has dealt with blood clots in recent years, so he definitely knows what Hurts is going through right now.

Hurts reportedly stayed up 36 hours just to play in the Oct. 4 game, causing fans to wonder why the Eagles even allowed their star QB to play in the first place due to the health issue.

Nick Sirianni then had a tense exchange with a reporter on Monday after the Hurts news broke, making it a tough time in Philadelphia for the organization and Jalen Hurts.
