Finally! The Colts won one game. It’s been a long time coming, but this is one of those Colts must haves. They jumped on the Texans early and that awful defense looked Super Bowl caliber for most of the game. They held CJ Stroud and never let him get comfortable. They did give up a late touchdown on a second Daniel Jones fumble, but the Colts overcame a late game stumble with a 53-yard field goal to win it.
No Jayden Daniels? No problem. Marcus Mariota was rocking it, scoring three touchdowns on the day. They don’t play light either. The defending Super Bowl champions are in town. The Commanders got out in front of the Seahawks early, but by the fourth quarter, the game was tied. A big interception returned for a touchdown put this one out of reach and put the Commanders in the winning column.
Both teams revived their seasons. One leaves London 2-2 after an 0-2 start. That’s big. The Colts have to be that team. It takes a long time to win, so there’s no reason to stop now.
