Every day of practice this season, the Kansas City Chiefs release the official injury report before the next game. In Week 6, the Chiefs will host the Los Angeles Chargers for a divisional matchup on Sunday afternoon.
Head coach Andy Reid discussed Rice’s injury in his press conference before practice on Wednesday.
“He felt really good coming in here,” Reid said. “When you start dealing with hamstrings, it could be a week, it could be two weeks, you don’t know, but I know he’s eager to get back.”
The following players are full participant in practice:
The Chargers listed 20 players on their initial injury report.
Alt, Awosika, Jackson and James are all out for the Chargers’ Week 5 contest against the Denver Broncos. Harris left the game with a hamstring injury and did not return.
Johnston and Thompson did not play against Denver. McConkey was nominally active on Sunday, but did not enter the game against the Broncos. Lambert-Smith was on Los Angeles’ Reserve/Injured list but was designated to return.
