Bo Nix at breakneck speed for game-winning drives

In history, no player has recorded as many game-winning drives in their first 40 starts as Bo Nix. He has 14 of them and that compares on the all-time list with no other player approaching the 35% game-winning drive rate that Nix achieved early in his career.

This start will have a mean snap-back on the mean average, but hopefully by then the Broncos won’t need game-winning drives every three games to keep winning games.

Despite all his struggles, Nix proved that there is “IT” or any “IT” in the NFL. When the chips are down or his back is against the wall, Nix looks for ways to make plays to keep his team alive at the end of games. I’ll take that every damn week, but it sure would be nice for him and the offense to find “IT” for the other 45 minutes of the game.

Broncos daily recap

Riley Moss or Ja’Quan McMillian? Which CB should the Broncos re-sign?

Now, I ask you, Mile High Report. When it comes to Riley Moss and Ja’Quan McMillian, who do you want the Broncos to re-sign/extend?

Stop blaming Bo

Everyone, just relax on the QB play, will you? The second question in yesterday’s presser to Sean Payton was wondering if the head coach had considered replacing Bo Nix.

Powerful quotables

Sean Payton

With the offense struggling to push the ball vertically and how accurate it is

“We knew that going in [Seattle] game there are some challenging looks based on the way these guys present their 2-deep, 2-high shell. We’ll get the ball on the field. I was able to listen to something [QB] Bo [Nix] specifically said and you definitely walk away from a game like that wanting a bit more or clearly a chunk play. That starts with me and we give them opportunities when they present themselves.”

On whether he considered making a change at quarterback and how QB Bo Nix needs to improve

“To answer your question, no. He’s going to be a byproduct of all the finer things that are improving. The improved play from our offensive line, we’re better on balance, running the football. That’s our jobs as coaches here. We talked after the game that we’re excited to get that win, but at the same time we’ve found the development we need everywhere. So, it’s starting.”

On how the training staff supports players coming back from mental injuries and whether QB Bo Nix faces a mental hurdle

“The first question, yes, we have a good training room. There’s science behind it. There’s physicality, are you healthy or not? All the other things related to mental toughness, mental strength. It’s a tough league. We’ve reached every aspect, and I think that’s one of the things that appeals to us. [QB] Bo [Nix] in the beginning we see his ability to rise above adversity. Bo isn’t the only one who feels that way. Right now, offensively, I feel that, our players feel that and we will improve.”

In managing poverty in real time

“I think it’s a little bit of our league. In short, it goes back to those challenging weeks that I talked about in the offseason. Fortunately, we’re sitting here at 4-2. We’ve got an opportunity to play better this coming weekend, and we will. I think part of that is when you’re not the first to fall, and I think these things are important to our details, and I think these things are important to our details body, and I think these things are important to our details, and I think these things are important to our details, and I think these things are important to our details. we will improve that, so we are eager to get back to work.

On OLB Jonathon Cooper coming off the Commissioner’s Exempt List and the work he’s done individually

“He initiated the steps himself. I won’t go into detail about everything he felt was important. I think the league is on the same page, the club. A lot of it becomes a league issue at that point. To his credit, he didn’t back down from everything he felt was necessary.”

On if he listens to media conversations about QB Bo Nix’s performance

“I’m trying to focus on the next day here. We’re trying to focus on getting ready to play Arizona. That’s kind of where our attention is.”
