Jaguars RB Bhayshul Tuten rushed 12 times for just 39 yards in Sunday’s loss at Houston. But he delivered through the air with 4 catches, 48 yards, and a pair of TDs. And his fantasy day should be even better.
2026 Fantasy Football Impact: Back to Uncertain Workload?
Tuten was untouched on a three-yard TD run down the right sideline, but the game was whistled for a phantom holding call on TE Brenton Strange.
On the next drive, Tuten officially got on the board with a 27-yard TD reception. Tuten took a simple swing pass, then dodged several oncoming tackles en route to the end zone. Later, he caught another pass in the flat when Houston’s defense left him completely unmarked.
The grades are certainly critical, but it’s worth noting how much work Chris Rodriguez has gotten. He looked strong with 11 carries for 55 yards, which tied for the fifth-most yards after contact per test for Week 6. He was second in total rushing EPA, behind only Chuba Hubbard.
Rodriguez entered Sunday with just a 22% carry share but finished with 48% against the Texans. It may have been a blip week, but his performance leaves open the possibility that HC Liam Coen will go with a more heated approach. Note that Rodriguez handled three of the team’s four goal line carries.
Next up is a Week 7 bye, followed by a great home matchup against Indy. Tuten figures to remain an RB2 for that one, with Rodriguez bringing some TD-based flex potential.
