It looks like Baker Mayfield suffered a major thumb injury against the Minnesota Vikings.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback fought for his life in the pocket on a 4th-and-13 play with less than two minutes left, with the Buccaneers trailing the Minnesota Vikings by a score of 20-16. Mayfield, after scrambling in the pocket for what seemed like an eternity, made a throw downfield while being hit both in his upper body, and with a defender around his ankles.

Before leaving the game, Mayfield completed 17-of-34 passes for 217 yards, one touchdown and one interception. The Buccaneers are currently 0-2 on the season.
