Adams caught five of his seven targets, including three in the red zone, for 51 yards and 2 TDs. He became the fourth WR this season to produce two receiving TDs in two separate weeks this season. Adams finished with 22.1 PPR points en route to finishing as the WR10 for his third WR1 week of the season.
2026 Fantasy Football Impact: Fringe WR1 In TDs
Adams has had multiple WR1 weeks this season, but both came when fellow WR Puka Nacua was sidelined. In the two games Adams played with Nacua before Week 5, he averaged just 6.4 PPR points per game.
But his outburst in production showed that he is still affected by Nacua’s return. Adams’ 13.0% target share on Monday Night Football marked a season low, coming just one week after he recorded his previous season low in Nacua’s return game from his hip and groin injuries.
Fortunately, Adams remains just as, if not more important in the red zone where WRs are extremely susceptible to TDs. He’s producing a 28.0% red zone target share on the season that ranks 13th among WRs, and his 38.5% mark since Nacua’s production continues to rank high even with a drop in target volume.
Adams remains a fringe WR1 candidate with the Rams facing a Cardinals defense that allows more points than any other defense.
