James Cook had a crazy reaction to the Bills’ blocked field goal

James Cook rode an emotional roller coaster Monday during the Buffalo Bills season‘ stunning victory over the Los Angeles Rams.

The Bills’ comeback nearly consumed his team in a Week 5 overtime victory at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, Calif. Wide receiver Khalil ShakirBuffalo’s 57-yard catch-and-run got Buffalo close to the red zone just three plays into the extra period.

But Cook, facing 1st-and-10 at the Rams’ 22, ran on the next play and took possession away from Aaron Donald. It was Cook’s second fumble of the game.

Cook was a brooding figure on the sideline as the Rams marched down the field, needing just one field goal to win.

Cook didn’t even watch the Rams line up for a 48-yard field goal attempt. He had his back to the field as Bills linebacker Greg Rousseau deflected Harris Mevis’ kickwhich gives new life to the Bills and Cook.

The veteran running back was in utter disbelief when he realized the Rams’ punt had gone wrong. Check out his reaction below.

The Bills won on a 45-yard field goal from Tyler Bass.

On the one hand, Cook had a productive Week 5 outing, posting 111 rushing yards and a pair of touchdowns on 25 carries. Cook had the conservative play-calling of Rousseau, Bass, and Sean McVay in OT to thank for salvaging his Week 5 performance.
