Indianapolis Colts Injury Report: Week 5 Thursday

The Indianapolis Colts today released their Thursday injury report for Week 5 of the NFL season against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Wide receiver Keenan Allen (groin) was limited in practice today. Allen has been dealing with a groin injury for the past few weeks which has kept him out of action against the Commanders. A team looking to bolster its passing attack can’t afford to let one of its veterans miss another game.

Center Tanor Bortolini (ankle) was limited in practice today. Bortolini missed training yesterday so his management of training today is a positive step for him. Bortolini is still looking for an uncertain who will be available for Sunday.y.

Linebacker Jaylon Carlies (ribs) continues to miss practice today. Carlies looks set to miss Sunday’s game with a rib injury. If he can’t play expect Bryce Boettcher to start in his place.

Linebacker Akeem Davis-Gaither (knee) was a full participant in practice today. Davis-Gaither returned to practice after missing the previous day. He looks set to be available Sunday and will continue to start at MIKE.

Wide receiver Ashton Dulin (hamstring) and defensive end Arden Key (hamstring) both did not practice today. Both look set to miss Sunday’s game. Key will miss his first of many to come and Dulin will miss his third for the year.

Tight end Will Mallory (thumb) was a full participant at practice again today. Mallory appears to be trending in the right direction to be activated from injured reserve and it could come this week.

Cornerback Charvarius Ward (groin) was limited again today in practice. It looks like Ward is still dealing with a groin injury this week even though he played last Sunday. Expect him to do the same this week.
